Terms and refund policy

Last updated 31 October 2026 · CyberSentien Pty Ltd · ACN 688 655 334 · New South Wales, Australia

These terms apply to every CyberSentien plan and report you buy. You accept them at checkout, before you pay.

1. What you are buying

A readiness assessment: CyberSentien reads the evidence you supply and shows how it measures against the frameworks in your plan or report. It is not an audit, a certification or an attestation, and it does not replace one. Every control shown as met carries the quoted line from your own document. Anything uncertain is sent to assessor review rather than guessed.

2. See it working before you pay

You can upload your own documents and see a watermarked preview of the report before you buy. Please use it. It is the best way to know the product suits you.

3. Your part

You supply the documents and give us the access you choose. The result depends on that evidence: a control with no supporting document is shown as not yet evidenced, which is a correct result and not a fault. You confirm the documents are yours to share and that the details you give us are accurate.

4. If something looks wrong: we fix it first

Tell us in writing at support@cybersentien.com within 14 days of the report being delivered, naming the controls or pages you think are wrong and why. Within 10 business days we will either show you the evidence behind the result, or correct it and re-run the report at no charge. If a genuine fault on our side still cannot be fixed, we refund the affected one-off report, or the unused months of a yearly plan.

5. What is not refunded

A change of mind after a report has been generated; a result you disagree with when the quoted evidence supports it; gaps caused by documents that were not supplied, supplied late, or supplied unreadable (for example a scan with no text); and a one-off report once delivered, except under section 4.

6. Yearly plans

You can cancel at any time and the plan will not renew. Once the first report of the plan year has been delivered there is no part-year refund, except under section 4.

7. Records

To resolve any question fairly we keep: your acceptance of these terms at checkout, with its date and time; payment and invoice records; when each report was delivered, with a digital fingerprint of the exact file; and our written correspondence with you. None of these records contain your evidence.

8. Card disputes

Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank, so we can fix the problem. If a payment is disputed, we will provide the records in section 7 to the card provider, and access to the plan or report is paused while the dispute is open.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Decisions you make on the basis of a readiness assessment remain yours.

10. Your rights under the law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law gives you a remedy these terms do not, the law applies.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. We may update them; the date above changes and the current version always lives at this address. The terms you accepted at checkout apply to that purchase. Questions: support@cybersentien.com.
